Beyonce Topshop Collaboration

Pop sensation Queen Bey has joined a highstreet favourite Topshop for an exciting new collaboration!

Beyonce has always been a fan of high street trends and has debuted many Topshop pieces on her instagram page!

Bey has struck a 50/50 partnership with the King of fashion Sir Phillip Green. The collaboration is set to feature athletic street wear style and will be called Parkwood Topshop Athletic LTD.

The range will include a full range of clothing, footwear and accessories inspired by sportswear and fitness wear to create a line of sportswear suitable for everyone, whatever the exercise!

Brand CEO Sir Phillip Green told WWD at the weekend “This not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business — a separate, proper business, with separate overhead and a separate office,”

The brand had been keen to start up an athletic sector for a while and who better to go into business with than a face (and body) that can really get behind it. The superstar has said “I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking.”

The Winter Essential: The Cape

The Cape is absolutely huge this Winter and I am a big fan of this look. The cape is so easy to wear, throw it over like a shawl or belt it for a more figure flattering look. This effortless look is so easy to do and looks great. The best thing about the shawl/ cape is that you can throw it over you on days when you are feeling the affects of all that Christmas indulging!
Super cosy and super stylish - invest now!

River Island Cape - £35
Chicest cover-up for AW14 the high street has ever seen! This striped blanket cape is perfect to layer up over or under your winter outfits. The neutral colour pallet ensures it will go with everything

Boohoo's Affordable Capes
Boohoo has got it so right with regard to the Cape trend. After scanning the website I found there were too many to choose from! All at reasonable prices, here  are some of my favourites:
(£45)

 £25
£20
I love the fur trim detail around the collar and the hassles on this grey and black cape.

Finding your perfect winter coat

I am a huge fan of outerwear with a forever growing collection! I cannot help myself from buying more and more coats, and this year is certainly no exception! There are so many great styles this A/W, I love seeing the parkas and the big fur coats gradually creep into shops.

And as the days become more frosty it is time to invest in a winter coat to see you through the winter months ahead of us. I have scanned the high street to find some of the best coats I can find and below are my personal picks.
This A/W 14 I have been particularly impressed with River Island’s extensive collection of outerwear. From fluffy winter coats to two tone padded jackets, this years collection has more variety then ever. I hope you love the collection too as a lot of my top picks are from there!

Starting off with the trusty parka - this khaki and black leather-look coat will ensure you brave the worst of the weather in impeccable style. The khaki picks up on one of this seasons key colours. Worth the money at £115
My second pick is also River Island (sorry for my obsession with their new collection!) I love, love love this two tone camel and black parka and think it would look great with your Winter colour pallet! I am lusting after parkas this year and River Island seem to have nailed the trend on the head I am struggling to pick which one I prefer.
(£110)

Next up: The padded jacket (the puffa)
Zara has always been my favourite place to go for a trustworthy, weather-proof padded jacket. Zara offer both short puffa coats as well as the same look in a slightly longer style (the mid length belted coat). Get the look for a fraction of the price with this Grey Boohoo quilted jacket (only £30.00!) goes with everything and keeps you super warm, sounds like a win/win to me!
I could not resist blogging one Zara quilted coat! The quality of Zara's coats is yet to let me down, at £109 it's not as purse friendly as the Boohoo but these coats are made to last so for me it is worth the extra investment!
Also available in black and khaki
(£109)

The Tartan
Tartan coats are always a hit in the winter seasons! They add instant style to plain outfits and I've got my eye on this seasons bloggers favourite River Island oversized coat (boyfriend fit). Check will forever be in fashion so it is definitely worth the investment; a piece you can wear year after year.
(£80)

`Go school girl chic in this adorable New Look number, at only £49.99 its a great staple piece! The chunky tartan print is so cute and it will go with just about anything in your winter wardrobe!

Two-Tone
£80 River Island
Two toning is everywhere this season! I love the two-tone coats everywhere this season, a new update on the cocoon coat from last Winter this pastel and grey coat with leather look sleeves is ticking all the right boxes.

Nicole Sherzinger for Missguided

My favourite X factor judge gone designer is back with her second collaboration for Missguided.co.uk. Her last collab with my favourite online store was shamazzzingggg and I could not resist her white body con slashed dress (as seen on Sam Fares)

This time Nicole is back with another head turning collection. The 35- piece range that launched today is also purse friendly with pieces priced between £20-£45. The collection is said to be inspired by the pussy cats dolls own style, as well as focusing in on seasonal trends. The sequinned pieces and dark colours mean the range is perfect for A/W 14 and for heading into the Christmas party season.

The behind the shots snaps from missguided released a day before the collection looked extremely promising. Nicole looked amazing (as always) and she seems to never fail in the fashion stakes.

I love the entire collection and will definitely be purchasing some of the pieces. Missguided and Nicole are the perfect match as the collaboration offers such statement yet affordable pieces, perfect for any occasion. My personal picks from the collection are below:

Trend Watch: Ripped Jeans

Over summer I was loving the distressed jeans (my favourite being my Topshop white joni jeans). It looks like the ripped jeans trend is carrying through from Summer to A/W 14. Ripped jeans have been recovered like marmite, with people either loving the trend whilst others just couldn't get their heads around spending £40+ on jeans with a hole in!

Personally, I love the ripped jeans look and think they add instant detail to simple outfits. I have just purchased some high waisted jamie jeans (topshop) in black to carry me through Autumn.

Topshop joni jeans are my favourite ripped jeans on the hughstreet. These jeans are so figure-hugging and super high waist making them extremely figure flattering. Joni jeans are also very comfortable and reasonably priced (£38-£42), well worth it for the usage you will get out of them.

Kim and Kanye: GET THE LOOK

Kim and Kanye – Get The Look

There has been much debate as to whether Kanye has transformed and ultimately dictated Kimmy’s style. Kim herself stated ‘I dress for my man (Kanye West) way more than for myself.’ Kim’s has kept her staple style throughout her relationship with Kanye, Kanye appears as a positive influence encouraging her to try more couture looks, probably due to his influences in the fashion industry. Regardless of the controversy, it is clear that they are one hot couple. In the following article, I will reveal how to get Kim and Kanye’s look for a fraction of the price with these clever high street finds.

There is no denying that Kim and Kanye have no trouble nailing glam. Last week, at the GQ Men of the Year awards, Kim opted for a stunning custom-designed haute couture gunmetal skirt by Ralph & Russo, with a cleavage enhancing, bare all latex bodysuit by Atsuko Kudo.

Here, I have found a way to copy Kims glam look with these purse friendly finds.
1. V Bralet, Topshop, £20
2. Plunging bodysuit, Missguided, £14.99
3. Light Green Embellished Maxi Skirt, River Island, £60

Kanye opted for a navy tuxedo with black trim and a low-cut black T-shirt. Kanye seemingly prefers to take the back seat, often wearing simple tailored looks ensuring all attention is on his wife. The couples outfits complimented each other and oozed glamour! Kanye’s simple tailored look becomes easy to recreate with our high street finds:

  1. Navy Tuxedo jacket with Shawl, ASOS, £95
  2. Black spray on jeans, Topman, £38
Kim and Kanye have also been known to co-ordinate by wearing matching on trend pieces, such as on Kim’s birthday where they both looked amazing in lace. Kanye rocks a statement blazer, the colour pop is a bold choice but he pulls it off effortlessly. Kim looks radiant and angelic in a sultry white two piece.

Get Kanye’s look by teaming a statement blazer with a contrasting shirt. Go for bright colours such as red for an instant colour pop to your outfit.

  1. Velvet red blazer, ASOS, £80
  2. Jersey burgundy blazer, ASOS, £60
Master Kim’s simple look in this
1. Missguided lace midi dress, £24.99
2. Or their Missguided two piece, (£14.99 per piece)
Follow Kim by teaming the look with strappy heels and a gold statement clutch.

The couple have also been complimented on their adorable matchy matchy style, often wearing his and hers versions of their favourite looks. In Paris, Kim opted for a figure hugging camel dress, matching the exact shade of Kanye’s coat.

Kanyes Look for less:
Camel coat, Topman, £90
Leather inset t-shirt, Topman, £22

Kim looks effortless in her strapless camel midi dress. Camel is huge this AW14, like Kim team your camel coat with a simple trench.

  1. Camel dress, Mango, 44.99
  2. Long flowy coat, Zara, £159

Check Mate

Tartan and check is one of my favourite winter trends. This year tartan is back with even more variety. Tartan was seen all over the London fashion week catwalks and in true highstreet style, the highstreet shops have nailed some excellent catwalk inspired looks at a fraction of the price.
The best thing about this trend is the versatility of it. From a line tartan skirts to chunky knitted tartan scarfs, there is something for everyone!
If you're not convinced on bold tartan pieces, try a tartan accessory. A tartan scarf is a great way to subtly nail the trend. Tip: Go for a reversible scarf for two looks for the price of one.
Below I have picked out some tartan pieces fresh off the hughstreet.
