Missguided Spring 15 Shoe Collection

My favourite online fashion brand has just dropped their latest shoe edit. Missguided Spring shoe collection is looking to be their best yet. It predominately features sports luxe looks, incorporating mesh into their latest designs and a lot of stand out cobalt blue, perfect to start making you feel just a little bit closer to summer. Whats more, the collection starts from just £30.00 and with student discount thats looking to be a very purse friendly edition to your wardrobe!

Peep Toe Heeled Mesh Boots (£40.00)
These also come in white!
Mesh Contrast Heeled Sandals
(£35.00)
These are my top pick from the collection. I love the three tone colour pallet on this shoe and think they look very expensive.
At £35.00 it would be rude not too!
Perspex Strap Mules in White
(£30.00)
Missguided have revamped the classic mule style, which is back this Spring, by adding the perspex strap.
Contrast Strap Block Heels
(£30.00)
These contrast heels are perfect for adding some colour to an LBD. The chunky silver block heel contrasts perfectly with the cobalt blue. Very 80's!

Crossover Strap Heels (in Cobalt blue)
(£35.00)
Work these with a monochrome outfit for an instant colour pop.

Snakeprint Toecap Courts
(£30.00)
A twist on the classic court shoe, these white courts feature a subtle snake print toe cap. Buy in white and these courts will see you through the entirety of Spring/Summer 15.
Laser cut Tie Back Heeled Sandals
(£40.00)
Whilst at the more expensive side of the Missguided range, these stunning shoes are definitely worth the money. Unleash your inner Kimmy K with these statement lace up sandals.
With so many stunning and stand out styles it is going to be difficult to not buy the entire collection! What do you think of Missguided's latest collection?

Celeb Boutique launch Valentines Collection

House of CB has launched a flirty and extremely pink collection just in time for valentines day! The brand is known for their figure enhancing, celeb inspired bodycon dresses, and this new release of dresses is guaranteed to please fans of the bodycon. I am a huge fan of House of CB as they never fail to offer standout pieces that are renowned for being extremely figure flattering. Whilst a little pricey, I believe a House of CB piece is worth it for a special occasion.

Lucasta Two-Piece
(£109)
This amazing coral two-piece gets me so excited for summer. The combination of the bustier top and the lace detail make it the perfect look for a girls night out this valentines day.

This nude lace dress with its low neckline is one of my favourite CB pieces and is a dress you can wear again and again. Verdict: Worth the investment.

The Jumper Dress

The Jumper Dress is this seasons hottest necessity! Whilst not a new or groundbreaking trend, the jumper dress (which originated in the 70s) is the perfect way to look stylish as well as being super comfy and warm. For the ultimate fashionista look add texture, team with some knee high boots and a  trench coat for instant street style.

If you are not prepared to face the cold add some black tights to ensure you keep extra warm.
Below I've picked out some of my favourite knit dresses (which are all very affordable) on the high street!

What to Wear this Valentines Day

Valentines day is fast approaching. When it comes to Valentines Day, it is easy to fall into the (very tacky eekkk!) trap of wearing red. Whether it is a first date, a night out with your friends or a dinner with your long term boyfriend, everybody wants to look good on Valentines day.
While it is fun to appreciate the festive looks (the fun pink and read hearts and the full on red dresses) these looks will have you keeping in with the festivities whilst still looking demure.

Look One: First Date
On your first date it is essential to give a good first impression without looking too try hard (every girls worst fear). It is important to not give away too much on the first date, which is why this look is perfect. The simple maroon jumpsuit will keep in with the valentines colour scheme without looking too OTT, guaranteed to make him think you are sophisticated but also oozing sex appeal. Team with simple nude accessories to complete the look.

Look Two: Girls Night

If you have a big night out planned for your valentines you are guaranteed to want to look good and to be the centre of attention. This red hot midi dress from Missguided.co.uk is perfect to nail the red look for valentines day whilst keeping it classy. Team with this ASOS heart clutch to feel in the valentines mood and these simple courts to complete the look.

Outfit Details:
Dress - Missguided (£30.00)
Heart Clutch - ASOS (£25.00)
Chloe Court Heels - Boohoo (£22.00)
Look Three: Girly Drinks
For girly drinks or a low key night out this all nude ensemble is perfect. From cocktails to just going out for a light meal this outfit suits all occasions. The light pink colour scheme will also make you feel in the valentines mood. Team the nude co-ord (ASOS) with these barely there missguided heels (very kimmy k)

Two Piece
Top - ASOS (£32.00 )
Skirt- ASOS (£45.00)
Metallic ribbed box clutch - Boohoo (£20.00)
Nude suede heels - Misguided (£30.00)

Look Four: Romantic Date
If you are spending valentines day with your boyfriend it's likely you will be going for a nice dinner to celebrate. Depending on the venue you can dress this look up or down. I recommend this simple jumpsuit, its understated and classy but also has sex appeal. Team with some black scrappy heels.

Outfit Details
Camel Jumpsuit - Missguided (£35.00)
Croc Clutch - River Island (£20.00)
Strappy black heels - Pretty Little Thing (£30.00)

Spring 15 Key Trends

Now we are fully into 2015, it's time to look ahead to a new year and a new wardrobe. September’s Fashion Week gave us an insight into what trends we will be expecting to see this Spring. The catwalks seemed to show nostalgia for the 1970’s with sporty looks, lots of gingham print (whether it be a coat or a mini dress) along with a whole lot of monochrome. Check the following trends to see what to expect for Spring 2015 and what you will be wearing in the forthcoming months.

Monochrome

DKNY, Public School, Thakoon
Whilst monochrome is not a new trend, this Spring there is a new twist on things with black and white patterns like you have never seen before.

Suede

Loewe  & Derek Lamb

Suede is here for Spring 15. From trench coats, two pieces to A-line skirts everything is coming with a soft touch.

Culottes

J. Crew, Tibi, Thakoon Addition

Forget skirts and shorts, the skort is here to stay. A summer 2014 trend which is continuing into the New Year. Team with a matching blazer and high heels for office chic.

Gingham

Oscar de la Renta & Altuzarra

This season the catwalks braced us with gingham covered everything. Look out for adorable gingham print dresses guaranteed to make you feel on trend for S/S 15. And remember whatever colour goes.

Relaxed Trench Coat

Tracy Reese, Thakoon, Tibi

Slouchy, lightweight trench coats—belted just so—were spotted all over the runways this season. These lightweight trenches are comfortable, stylish mix between a robe, a proper coat, and a kimono. These super light coats are a must

PRIMARK SPRING 15

Primark has unveiled some of their key pieces for their Spring 2015 collection. Despite the cold weather outside this pastel filled collection is already getting us excited for Spring/Summer 15. The collection features a predominately pastel colours pallet with some stand out patterns as well as lots of florals!

I was particularly impressed by the array of coats they have on offer in the forthcoming collection. From light khaki trench coats to carry you through the transition season to scuba macs in pastel pinks, there is something for everybody! The collection seems to be there best yet and we cannot wait for it to hit the stores.

The shoe collection this year is also looking like one to watch out for! Primark have got us summer ready with lots of fluro sandals and fun pattern printed pumps.

As usual, the brand has offered us key Spring trends for a purse friendly price, with their print long line duster coat being priced at just £17 and culottes (a huge Spring trend) for only £14! Look out for Primark's collection which is beginning to hit stores now!
