Which Beauty Blender?
The beauty blender has become a make up icon and in my opinion is a make up bag necessity. The original beauty blender was so popular that there are now many duplicates available both online and on the high street. I have tried out a lot of different beauty blenders to see the difference with the intention of finding the best product to help me achieve a flawless complexion.
1. Number one has to be the original beauty blender. I purchased mine for 16.00 from BEAUTY BAY. I find this sponge the softest and the easiest at blending product.
2. Number two has to be my current sponge, the REAL TECHNIQUES beauty blender (4.95) which I got from BOOTS. I find this blender extremely easy to use and great for blending all my product. I tend to apply foundation (with my foundation brush) and then use my beauty blender to contour and blend. This sponge really is a miracle worker and always leaves me with an even complexion.
3. Number Three. If you're looking for an inexpensive dupe - opt for the PRIMARK beauty blender, this will cost you an unbelievable 2.50! (pictured below) Whilst the PRIMARK beauty blender is incomparable to the original beauty blender, you can still blend product easily and overall achieve a similar effect.

Beauty Works Hair Extensions
I have recently invested in some Beauty works hair extensions. The extensions I opted for were the Double drawn celebrity choice weft extensions, 100% human hair. This hair cost me 198.99, but despite the slightly hefty price tag this hair is amazing quality and can be reused for up to two years (if looked after). I had these hair extensions weaved into my hair and the results are below:
I am in love with how thick the hair is and how easy it is to style. The only downside is washing and drying the hair which takes so long, but I think it's definitely worth it.
If you're thinking of buying long term hair extensions I couldn't recommend Beauty Works more. They also do a range of clip in hair extensions if you're looking for a less permanent fixture.
Verdict: worth the money
The Bomber is Back
It's finally starting to feel like Spring (just about) which means it's finally time to start thinking about ditching our fur coats for something lighter. This S/S16 it's all about the bomber jacket. Whilst the bomber has always been a popular choice, this year it seems to everywhere with more variety than ever before!
Below I have picked out some of my favourite bombers on the high street this season at a variety of prices.
Cream Crochet bomber - RIVER ISLAND 45.00
I love the crochet detail on this bomber, it instantly adds a little something to jeans and a came vest.
Khaki Bomber- MISSGUIDED 30.00
Nail two trends in one with this khaki utility bomber from Missguided.
Suedette bomber - RIVER ISLAND 55.00
My personal favourite on the hughstreet this year (and a recent purchase) has to be this suedette look biker from river island.
Sateen Silver Bomber - TOPSHOP - 60.00
This premium topshop bomber is perfect if you're wanting to nail the sporty luxe look.
The Denim Bomber - BOOHOO 25.00
This bomber jacket will go with everything in your wardrobe. Team with jeans to achieve the perfect double denim look for Spring. At just 25.00 it's a spring staple with a purse friendly price.
