Primark Spring 2015 Press Day

This week I worked at Primark Press Office (Russell Square) helping to prepare for their Spring 2015 press day (#PrimarkSpring15)
The collection is what I believe to be their best ever! From bold neon pieces to dusky blue daisy prints the collection offers something for everyone.
The kimonos stood out for me, Primark have upped their game when it comes to detail. The Kimonos were all beautifully embellished with sequins or pom poms and whats best of all were still at purse friendly prices!

Primark also showed their make-up collection at the Press day. Pick and mix bags were available in order for guests to pick up and try out whatever they fancied. I was particularly impressed by their eyeshadow pallets which offered a variety of shades for only £3 (great stocking fillers)

This was the first press day in which Primark showed their homewear collection. Their homewear collection has been quickly expanding over the last year.

Kendall Jenner as the New Face of Estee Lauder

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star gone model, Kendall Jenner has announced her appointment as the new face of huge beauty brand Estee Lauder. Kendall teased the public with an instagram snap saying she had a big announcement to make last Friday, posting this photo with the caption: Big news tomorrow…#WatchThisSpace

Kendall made the announcement yesterday (Saturday 15th) to the press that she will be the new face of cosmetics giant Estee Lauder.

The official video released by Estee Lauder shows glimpse of Kendall as a young child trying on her mum,’s (Kris Jenner’s) make-up.

Kendall believes the appointment is an honour, stating she feels ‘just so incredibly blessed.’ She has taken to social media to post her exciting news:

'I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!! check out http://www.esteelauder.com/kendall to see more...' she wrote.
'I still can't believe it myself!' she informed her more than 15 million Instagram followers as she shared an edgy shot of herself posing on a motorcycle.

According to Vogue.com, Kendall has been aware for quite some time of the deal that will land her face in magazine print ads and TV commercials all over the world.
Kendall received word backstage during the Sonia Rykiel show at Paris Fashion Week on September 29 and has done a stellar job keeping such huge news secret for more than a month since.
The website also reveals that as part of the company's new 360-degree marketing campaign, they chose Kendall in part due to her huge social media following and made the decision that she would announce her appointment on Twitter and Instagram.

The news has arrived just two weeks after the models 19th birthday proving she is already looking to have a good year ahead of her. There has been quite a lot of backlash from the public with some people believing she is far too young to be the face of the beauty brand which is widely used by middle-aged women.

Kylie and Kendall's new PacSun Collection

Kylie and Kendall have unveiled their new clothing line for PacSun yesterday. PacSun is a Californian clothing brand stocking both male and female clothing lines. The Jenner sisters have created a winter clothing line for the company consisting of 30 pieces. The sisters have bought together their two contrasting styles to create one staple collection of key winter pieces.

'What we love the most about our new holiday collection with PacSun is how it perfectly balances out our unique styles,' the pair told Us Weekly about the 30-piece line.
'We broke it out by each of our favorites, so fans can see what pieces fit our personal styles.'
Kendall, 19, and her 17-year-old sister model the clothing in the campaign, posing together and separately against a stark white background.

Kendall and Kylie's 30-piece holiday line is full of cozy sweaters in luxe textures, graphic Tees, and a range of other trendy staples. The entire collection launches on the website and in stores TOMORROW!

The Wang Factor

Alexander Wang has teamed up with a hughstreet favourite, H&M to bring us a designer meets high street collar. The New-York based designer initially teased his fans with a video to promote the range. The collection has been long awaited and anticipated since its announcement in April. The 61 piece collection is heavily sport themed and features minimal colour. The collection sticks to a staple colour pallet of white, black and grey.

The response to the collection was complete madness with the H&M website clashing as well as fashionistas queuing from 11pm onwards in the London stores to get a piece of the Wang collection. There were overnight campers at the Regent street store.

The collection was a complete sell out both online and in stores. Pieces from the collection are already being sold on auction sites such as eBay with sizeable mark ups online. One silver puff jacket (retailing at £249.99) in store is currently on eBay for a staggering £599.99.

Rhianna was seen sporting a two piece from the collection two months before it hit stores, which has further increased the hype around these two items and the collection as a whole.

Lauren Pope - Hair Rehab London Review (Pony tail hair piece)

Today I am reviewing Lauren Pope's synthetic pony tail hair piece from her range for Hair Rehab London. The high pony piece, priced at £21.99 has been a great addition to my hair extensions collection. Hair rehab london also accepts Paypal making checkout super fast. The piece is so quick and easy to use, you simply tie your own hair in a ponytail and clip it in and then finally wrap the remainder of the hair round the pony tail to hide any joints.

Lauren Pope has a vast collection of clip in synthetic hair pieces which are so easy to use and give you amazing hair in minutes. The range is also all extremely reasonably priced. This range is now also available at selected super drugstores, and added bonus as it means you no longer have to pay for postage.

If you are unsure about colours, google image them, many of the pieces have been blogged about, this should help give you a clearer image of what colour is perfect for you.

I adore the hair piece and have now ordered the synthetic plait to add to my collection. Look out for a review on this piece too!

If you use the Lauren Pope synthetic hair pieces, let me know what you think.

Beyonce Topshop Collaboration

Pop sensation Queen Bey has joined a highstreet favourite Topshop for an exciting new collaboration!

Beyonce has always been a fan of high street trends and has debuted many Topshop pieces on her instagram page!

Bey has struck a 50/50 partnership with the King of fashion Sir Phillip Green. The collaboration is set to feature athletic street wear style and will be called Parkwood Topshop Athletic LTD.

The range will include a full range of clothing, footwear and accessories inspired by sportswear and fitness wear to create a line of sportswear suitable for everyone, whatever the exercise!

Brand CEO Sir Phillip Green told WWD at the weekend “This not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business — a separate, proper business, with separate overhead and a separate office,”

The brand had been keen to start up an athletic sector for a while and who better to go into business with than a face (and body) that can really get behind it. The superstar has said “I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking.”

The Winter Essential: The Cape

The Cape is absolutely huge this Winter and I am a big fan of this look. The cape is so easy to wear, throw it over like a shawl or belt it for a more figure flattering look. This effortless look is so easy to do and looks great. The best thing about the shawl/ cape is that you can throw it over you on days when you are feeling the affects of all that Christmas indulging!
Super cosy and super stylish - invest now!

River Island Cape - £35
Chicest cover-up for AW14 the high street has ever seen! This striped blanket cape is perfect to layer up over or under your winter outfits. The neutral colour pallet ensures it will go with everything

Boohoo's Affordable Capes
Boohoo has got it so right with regard to the Cape trend. After scanning the website I found there were too many to choose from! All at reasonable prices, here  are some of my favourites:
(£45)

 £25
£20
I love the fur trim detail around the collar and the hassles on this grey and black cape.

Finding your perfect winter coat

I am a huge fan of outerwear with a forever growing collection! I cannot help myself from buying more and more coats, and this year is certainly no exception! There are so many great styles this A/W, I love seeing the parkas and the big fur coats gradually creep into shops.

And as the days become more frosty it is time to invest in a winter coat to see you through the winter months ahead of us. I have scanned the high street to find some of the best coats I can find and below are my personal picks.
This A/W 14 I have been particularly impressed with River Island’s extensive collection of outerwear. From fluffy winter coats to two tone padded jackets, this years collection has more variety then ever. I hope you love the collection too as a lot of my top picks are from there!

Starting off with the trusty parka - this khaki and black leather-look coat will ensure you brave the worst of the weather in impeccable style. The khaki picks up on one of this seasons key colours. Worth the money at £115
My second pick is also River Island (sorry for my obsession with their new collection!) I love, love love this two tone camel and black parka and think it would look great with your Winter colour pallet! I am lusting after parkas this year and River Island seem to have nailed the trend on the head I am struggling to pick which one I prefer.
(£110)

Next up: The padded jacket (the puffa)
Zara has always been my favourite place to go for a trustworthy, weather-proof padded jacket. Zara offer both short puffa coats as well as the same look in a slightly longer style (the mid length belted coat). Get the look for a fraction of the price with this Grey Boohoo quilted jacket (only £30.00!) goes with everything and keeps you super warm, sounds like a win/win to me!
I could not resist blogging one Zara quilted coat! The quality of Zara's coats is yet to let me down, at £109 it's not as purse friendly as the Boohoo but these coats are made to last so for me it is worth the extra investment!
Also available in black and khaki
(£109)

The Tartan
Tartan coats are always a hit in the winter seasons! They add instant style to plain outfits and I've got my eye on this seasons bloggers favourite River Island oversized coat (boyfriend fit). Check will forever be in fashion so it is definitely worth the investment; a piece you can wear year after year.
(£80)

`Go school girl chic in this adorable New Look number, at only £49.99 its a great staple piece! The chunky tartan print is so cute and it will go with just about anything in your winter wardrobe!

Two-Tone
£80 River Island
Two toning is everywhere this season! I love the two-tone coats everywhere this season, a new update on the cocoon coat from last Winter this pastel and grey coat with leather look sleeves is ticking all the right boxes.

Teddy Coat

The Fur Coat

Nicole Sherzinger for Missguided

My favourite X factor judge gone designer is back with her second collaboration for Missguided.co.uk. Her last collab with my favourite online store was shamazzzingggg and I could not resist her white body con slashed dress (as seen on Sam Fares)

This time Nicole is back with another head turning collection. The 35- piece range that launched today is also purse friendly with pieces priced between £20-£45. The collection is said to be inspired by the pussy cats dolls own style, as well as focusing in on seasonal trends. The sequinned pieces and dark colours mean the range is perfect for A/W 14 and for heading into the Christmas party season.

The behind the shots snaps from missguided released a day before the collection looked extremely promising. Nicole looked amazing (as always) and she seems to never fail in the fashion stakes.

I love the entire collection and will definitely be purchasing some of the pieces. Missguided and Nicole are the perfect match as the collaboration offers such statement yet affordable pieces, perfect for any occasion. My personal picks from the collection are below:

Let me know what you think of Nicole's second range for Missguided
