The Bomber is Back

It's finally starting to feel like Spring (just about) which means it's finally time to start thinking about ditching our fur coats for something lighter. This S/S16 it's all about the bomber jacket. Whilst the bomber has always been a popular choice, this year it seems to everywhere with more variety than ever before!

Below I have picked out some of my favourite bombers on the high street this season at a variety of prices.

Cream Crochet bomber -  RIVER ISLAND 45.00
I love the crochet detail on this bomber, it instantly adds a little something to jeans and a came vest.

Khaki Bomber- MISSGUIDED 30.00

Nail two trends in one with this khaki utility bomber from Missguided.

Suedette bomber - RIVER ISLAND 55.00
My personal favourite on the hughstreet this year (and a recent purchase) has to be this suedette look biker from river island.

Sateen Silver Bomber - TOPSHOP - 60.00
This premium topshop bomber is perfect if you're wanting to nail the sporty luxe look.

The Denim Bomber - BOOHOO 25.00
This bomber jacket will go with everything in your wardrobe. Team with jeans to achieve the perfect double denim look for Spring. At just 25.00 it's a spring staple with a purse friendly price.

The Best of Silver Shampoos

As a blonde, using purple shampoo is essential to keep brassy tones at bay. There is nothing worse than faded bleached hair with an orangey tint. Luckily, a good purple shampoo can keep your hair looking ashy and light. My favourite purple shampoo has to be TIGI'S Catwalk shampoo which leaves my hair looking ashy as well as feeling very soft and smelling amazing. I leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes max and use it every time I wash my hair (3-4 times a week).

There are high street options which also create the same effect - I have previously tried 'A Touch of Silver' which you can get for as little as 1.85! The shampoo works in the same way but I feel overall is not as effective as the TIGI.

How do you keep your hair blondified?

Fringed Friends

I am loving the fringed shoes trend bringing back a 70s trend to A/W 15. This trend is so easy to work as it can be worn both day and night. For day fringing River Island has really concurred the trend (I'm not bias, honest!) with chunky heels and suede pieces it is the perfect place to pick up a new fringed friend for your Autumn wardrobe.

Victoria Beckham SS16

Victoria Beckham launched her latest collection yesterday - her SS16 range and her 15th catwalk show to date. VB is quickly becoming more and more acknowledge in the fashion industry as she has slowly began to win over even the initial harshest critics at her announcement to turn to the fashion industry.

The collection was bursting with bright colours; primary coloured ribbing, floral leather jackets, wide culottes as well as daisy blue tones. From suedette mini skirts to oversized tops and full skirts the collection boasted key summer looks.

Whilst the range was full of bright colours and prints the collection remained completely controlled. VB claims this new infused colour to the collection is down to the fact 'I (she) has done a lot of travelling this year' whilst also stating that her latest collection showed a 'carefree attitude.'
The biggest change from her previous collections is the huge injection of print. Victoria stated that the emphasis on block colours in her previous collection is due to the fact she has 'never really worn a lot of print before as I struggle with it but I try all these clothes on and think we've made it really wearable.'

Another huge talking point from the collection is Beckham's spin on accessories this year, in particular the 'half moon bag.' VB crowns this the 'essential' bag of next season.
