Since the new year we have seen hi-tech fabrics and sports mesh pretty much everywhere. 2015 has become the year where sportswear becomes fashionable, and it has taken over the highstreet. Sports brands are also aware of the increased attention and have reacted by hiring fashionable ambassadors, for instance Puma announced Rihanna as their new global brand ambasador.  The trend is clearly here to stay as we slowly commence into Summer 2015 and the best news about the athletic trend is that it is now FULLY acceptable to wear your gym leggings in public. The trend is easy to master and looks effortless. Keep the athletic look classic with simple touches such as plimsolls, gym shorts and stripes. 

The Duster Coat

The duster coat or trench coat is perfect for the transition from Spring to Summer. With the weather being extremely unpredictable, a light weight jacket will ensure you are covered for when the weather may look nice (but still be pretty chilly). The best thing about this summer essential is that you can literally throw them over any outfit. This season I have already purchased several light summer jackets and below are some of my favourites on the high street.

In the Pink

Rihanna turned heads yesterday as she headed to Good Morning America in a head to toe pink ensemble. Whilst she has never been one to shy away from fashion forward outfits, she really did nail it yesterday. The full on pink look definitely turned heads and I think if anyone can pull it off Rihanna certainly can! Her ultra-feminine look was comprised of a flattering slim-fitting bubble gum pink jumpsuit, matching jacket and a fur stole. Her entire look was taken directly from French fashion house Pascal Millet. The look is part of the Fall 2015 collection which hit the runway just last week at Paris Fashion Week.

Pauls Boutique REVAMP!

Pauls Boutique has been completely rebranded (thank the lord)! The company has been working on redesigning the brand for the past year and it is now looking like an entirely new brand. Long gone are the dreaded zebra print handbags with the huge union jack logos and instead they have bought in classic style handbags, lots of patent pieces and cute key ring accessories. The brand has come a long way from its former chavvy looks and is finally looking much more sophisticated. It is now being sold in Topshop oxford street and I genuinely did not recognise the brand due to its severe transformation. 

I was particularly drawn to the nude collection which is perfect for Spring/ Summer 15. From purses, and clutch bags to handbags the collection offers something for everyone.

The bag charms are also super cute and each priced at just £9.99, meaning you can add some detail to a plain bag for a purse friendly price.
